Go and have a look at the art collection which was saved from looting by the Third Reich by hiding it in the mountains. It has some world famous paintings by the likes of Piero della Francesca, Raphael, Paolo Uccello, Titian among others. When cruising...More

Like the title said it is free. No backpacks so you have to use a locker, free of charge. They had some important works on loan, which stunk. These were my favorite pieces.

This is an outstanding collection of Renaissance painting in a very impressive building. However the two great Piero della Francescas and Rafael's La Muta would be worth a special trip all on their own.
