When on Piazza Popolo, one of the lovely buildings on the Square. But it can only be viewed from the outside as it is the Police Locale's HQ.

Still today this is the city hall of Pesaro. It is a nice building from the 15.th century with a lot of modicfication later. It stands on the Piazza del Popolo, the middle of the city.

The guard room were quite clear that this, the City Hall, was not open to tourists! The façade added significantly to the look of the square.

As highly recommended, we drove to Pesaro to see the Palazzo Ducale. But what disappointment. The palace wasn't able to visit. Outside view as expected, as we tried to visit, policeman sent us away.

If you have the right time, than you can visit the current City Hall, the former palace of the Dukes. In the middle of the old city of Pesaro it is a very imposant building
