Just went to look. We’re not disappointed not to have purchased tickets. Would recommend going at the start of the day if you do want to do it having bought tickets in advance. Worth an outside view and very much part of a ‘Rome Experience’.

Beautiful, felt slightly let down by people trying to force tours on you. Go alone if your brave enough queues are not that long and free to get into
