So much to see and do, you should take many days to venture off on your own. Take camera to capture the moment

We had a breakfast tour / private guide (7:00am) and beat the crowds for the tour of Vatican; the history and absolute beauty of every room was unbelievable; almost surreal

Rome is amazing - a visual treat at every turn. Highly recommended. Take your time and unearth the hidden treasures at your own pace and you'll love the place.

We were in Rom only 3 days. Book your ticket on VIATOR.com to get the best deal and skip the lines. We only waited maybe 10-15 minutes instead of hours! It's worth your money. Think this way, how many times do you go and visit...More

Without doubt this is an amazing place but let's be honest it is too busy, over packed with tourists and a fight to the last to see anything. The guides take no prisoners getting to the best location in each room. I know cynical but...More

This was my first visit to Rome and I thought that the architecture and history of Rome itself was awesome untill I visited Vatican City. This is the number one attraction in my opinion but with the grand architecture and superb sites hardly surprising really....More

There were a few individuals approached us when we arrived at the St. Peter Square and while taking pictures. They were trying to get us to join their tour group so we could skip the line to enter the Sistine Chapel and the basilica. This...More

I think this has been mentioned a few times, amazing place - one of a kind and a must see. Architecture and history etc. and so forth. However, I felt I could not experience this the way I wanted due to being shoulder to shoulder...More

Google shows many agents offering "Skip the Line" for a visit to St Peter's Basilica. I have read that there is no entrance fee to St Peter's. Do these "Skip the Line" options get you through the security check quicker? Or am I wasting my money? Thanks Gaja

The "Skip the Line" means you go in with a tour guide. They purchase the tickets and get you thru the doors quickly - but you still have to wait in line for security. It moves pretty fast. They can help you bypass the... More

I am thinking of booking a guided tour including Sistine chapel Vatican museums and St. Peter's basilica and the duration states 3 hours. However all write ups I've read seem to suggest you'd be hard pushed to do them in a day. Can anyone explain this discrepancy please?
