Saw this treasure when visiting the Vatican Museum it is now in a glass surround for safe keeping. So worth a look.

Saw this statue in the Vatican Museum. Very detailed piece of art and well worth a look. So many statues and works of arts to see in this museum.
This is an interesting statue. Take note because there is a copy in the Uffizi in Florence, but that copy has a mistake. The right arm of the center statue is done incorrectly. It's interesting to see the original and then the copy

We loved this one and the story our guide told us about Micheal Angelo guessing correctly how the missing parts of this ancient work should be. Others did not agree - but 400 yrs later the missing arm was found and he was exactly right!
