To give a basic knowledge about the history of Rome it can be good for a teenage family. However it is only 25 minutes and the shaking of the seats gave no extra effect worth the money.

We had a little time to kill and needed to sit down so we wandered into this attraction. It was really good fun for the kids with its 4D and 5D films. Probably a good place to start a Rome trip to give the kids some context and history.

The children thought it was 'cool'. This is NOT a trip for any one prone to a sore neck or back. The movement was excessive and did not serve any purpose to the plot of the film. The film itself contained historical inaccuracies and so was not a useful teaching tool for the children about roman history at all. If... More

The movie was not so good, we expect more. The movement of seat is just for fun, not related to movie, sometimes was very painful ( the movment). I will not recomend you...

Not the right thing for us. The quality of the movie is on a low level. And the moving seats are terrible (feels like car crash). Might be nice for families...there were some with small children. We (age 20-35) didn't like it at all. Sorry.

The idea is brilliant but technology has caught up with it. It just feels outdated even worse is the confusing way the texts are put on the screen. I didn't really feel I got through the centuries but more like I was caught in a confusing TV program.

After spending a few days in Rome having done the Vatican Tour, a tour of the Colosseum, Forum and Caesar's Palace, we thought it would be a good idea to visit the Time Elevator to put all we had learned into perspective and to clarify timelines. This attraction has you seated in a bank of 4 seats with a pull... More

The 3D show of the life is amazing and have the outter effects such as when it is rain you will be wet and when animals try to attack you you feel them in your legs. Advised to try and visit.

This attraction is a wonderful surprise in the center of town. There are several movies available and package options. However, we opted to see the History of Rome. This is a 45 minute movie that gives a fantastic overview of the City’s sites. There is only one auditorium, and visitors are seated in groups. The groups have their own moving... More

This is not that sophisticated of a ride or show, but it was fun. There was only one other couple and it was a rainy day, so it was nice to get out of the rain and enjoy some history. The Rome history was very educational, and the ride was fun. Just about like Star Tours in Disney land, if... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
