I loved this place. Very Italian serving great food. Pumpkin & mushroom risotto with a couple of glasses of red wine, followed by an espresso. Very reasonably priced.

We had breakfast here most mornings. Their pastries are delicious and they make amazing cappuccinos! Staff are friendly and they have a huge range of gifts to buy inside. Very reasonable prices!

Adjacent to our hotel, the Mondial, it was a good option for quick bite before heading to airport. The pasta was nothing special- at 7 euros a plate. Service very quick and friendly. Nice seating on sidewalk. The restaurant is also a store with everything...More

Really enjoyed dropping into this place a few times while staying in the area. Serves light meals, and is a lot quieter than other bars in the area, which all seem to be showing football on TV. Service really good & reasonable prices. One half...More

Nero D'avola Syrah Cusumano Benura 2013 Sicilian at 9 euro!!! It is a wonderful wine shop, the owners don't bother you but are eager to help. Near Teatro della Opera, if memory serves me (but don't depend on it; it often fails me).

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
