Antonella was great and gave us a wonderful overview and highlights of all the best things to see. With the size of the Vatican this was invaluable. Our daughter loved the gelato break in between. 😄🙏

Our family had our best Vatican Museum experience to date with our kind and highly informed guide, Antonella! She became a fun, nonna (grandmother) figure to our young sons right away, who didn't want to see her go at the end. Her storytelling was super interesting for both the adults and children. She wanted us to understand what we were seeing and not just say 'Wow' and rush by. Our 4 year-old really loved the challenge she presented of finding as many keys to the Vatican as he could throughout the tour, first explaining the history and significance of this frequently recurring symbol. When the tour was finished, she recommended an awesome lunch spot walking distance from the Vatican that was delicious and authentic.

Our 4 year-old son *loved* learning about the Colosseum and Roman Forum with our guide Marco. What's equally rewarding is that for the remainder of our time in Italy and over a week later back in the States, my son has retained what he learned on the tour. This is largely because Marco was great at explaining what we were seeing in a way that was animated, fun and active. While focusing on the experience for our young sons, he also thoughtfully included the three adults (parents and grandmother). Marco knew where to take us for great family photos and used games and storytelling very effectively. The tour was a great way to spend the morning together as a family learning about Ancient Rome.

Tour guide Marco saved our day! Our 4 kids were all tired and cranky before the tour. Marco got them engaged and happy within a few minutes.. we had two amazing afternoons with him.
