Awesome.....but a bit out of the way

This beatiful cultural place in located in via di porta san sebastiano, and it has beeen restored and opend to the public recently. It dates back III century b.C. and it shows the roman history through many centuries. The visit is open only to small groups (12 persons max) accompanied by a touristic guide.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum delle mura. It's out of the way but totally worth the trip. The Tomb is really interesting and can only be seen on guided tours. Unfortunately a lot of the original tombs are in museums but there are replicas in place.
