Santa Maria della Vittoria is a sight not to be missed. Rome is packed with beautiful churches, but this one must surely rank as one of the most incredible. Apart from the well- known Cornaro chapel, the apse decorations, ceiling and other side chapels are...More

This is a wonderful church if you like the baroc style. If not you might find it a bit over the top. But it’s worth a visit just to see the beautiful statue of Theresa made by Bernini. Easy to find and free.

This statue was one of the first things I wanted to see when planning my visit to Rome. The church is quite small and not amongst the most impressive. But if you are an art lover, the statue alone will be worth the visit for...More

This is not the most obvious of exhibits in Rome but dazzlingly beautiful statues and artwork make it a must.

a sculptural masterpiece by Bernini ho was the leading scuptor of that time, the white marble statue is truly captivating with the expresssions so well carved out on the face of the figurines.

This externally unprepossessing chiesa is stunning inside. The sculpture of Saint Theresa in Ecstasy by Gian Lorenzo Bernini is breath taking.

Another reviewer indicated that the statue was undergoing renovations. As of Sept 2018 it was fully on display. This is a lovely church of a more human scale than you typically find in Rome. The St. Therese carving is the main draw, but it is...More

Missed this three years ago, and was so looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately they are busy restoring it so, even though you can view it, there is scaffolding around it. Also be aware that the church closes at lunchtime and only opens at about...More

Hi! Search for "Santa Maria della Vittoria". The address I get from google is Via Venti Settembre, 17, 00187 Roma. It's across the street from the Fountain of Moses, probably the first thing you'll see
