I've always come to this park throughout my life; I used to live just down the road and it's such a quiet, beautiful, green space one can almost forget how close it is to the city center madness. Still, its even farther removed from the chaos than the Villa Borghese, and such a perfect escape. I've been fortunate enough to... More

We discovered this amazing park since it was just in front of our hotel. We decided to visit the same morning before we left Rome. What a lovely surprise to find a pond with turtles! The park is very big, peaceful and relaxing. You can completely forget you're in Rome, away from the hubbub and busy roads. There's also a... More

This park is one of the green lungs of Roma: is maybe the biggest, but in my opinion it's also cleanest and the most suggestive. Great for jogging and bike riding.

Want to get away from the madhouse of the tourist areas of Rome? Grab a blanket, bottle of wine, some bread and cheese, and head to Villa Ada. This locals only park is a great way to enjoy a lovely afternoon in Rome. Just sit back, relax, read a book, people watch, or catch a nap under a shade tree.... More

After some days of an extenuating visit of the amazing Rome and its ancient ruins, I was a bit tired of the huge crowds of people and tourists, the traffic and the noise, and in urgent need of some air and peace. This Villa was more than what I expected, we basically spent the whole day there. We paired it... More

Villa Ada was the place we went to to see a Booker T. Jones concert in July 2014. The concert was held on a open stage constructed on a tiny island in the middle of the lake. The nature itself coupled with a leasurely atmosphere of the place worked like a charm. The concert itself was amazing. One could take... More

I walked in here, because I had some business at the University. I entered on the Via Panama side, walked an hour, so didn't see too much of the park. But it was busy with walkers, joggers, dogs and their owners, lots of green space and quiet. You could hear the birds. There's a nice cafe on Via Panama that's... More

You'll find Romans, not tourists, here. If you want to get a glimpse of everyday life in the Eternal City, stop in, have coffee at the cafe (which has bathrooms), walk around the extensive grounds, and enjoy a slower pace of life. Bike rentals are available: at the top of the park near the cafe, the bike rentals are less... More
