There are so many nice places to go for a meal or beer ,I enjoyed Roma Beer Company and a visit to La Petite Fourchette which were great places... More

We have been staying in Campo di Fiori and wanted to visit the area, especially the Nuovo Mercato Testaccio. Over the Easter weekend things didn't seem to slow down much in our part of Rome so on the Monday, we decided to go... when the walk began to be a bit of a challenge we got in a cab and... More

The Testaccio food tour that I did in August was the highlight of my stay in Rome. The tour took us through a typical Roman day and provided some of the best food I have tasted. The establishments we visited were welcoming and eager to participate in the tour. The guide was fun, well informed and we heard lots of... More

Definitely worth a stop if you have the time. This is a true working class Roman neighborhood. It is going through a transition and is considered a hot spot with foodies.

We had an awesome time with GiGi, our fantastic guide. We were impressed with the quiet, out of the way neighborhood and all the delicious food it had to offer! Make sure to pace yourself! You will be full by the end of this 4 hour walking tour! Best tour of the trip!

Get off the tourist track and take the M up to Testaccio. It is a great place to visit and the food scene allover is great and no tourist traps to separate you from your $$$ for some mediocre pasta or pizza. Safe, a short ride and definitely worth the trip.
