My husband and I booked the ‘Sounds and visions of Caravaggio’ tour for Saturday at 11am. This was an enjoyable way to see the palace. The guide showed you highlights of the collection while telling you the interesting history of the family and the palace....More

The Galleria Doria Pamphilj has been one of the places in Rome I've wanted to visit most and it doesn't disappoint. When you buy your tickets you are given audio guides which you can use at your leisure. Each room has a number which you...More

Like a secret vault holding the wealth of an entire century, this is greatest collection of Italian baroque painting I've ever seen. Incredible that it seems to be a secret- when I arrived only three others were in the entire gallery, including the guard. The...More

A stunning palace filled with priceless art works including several Caravaggios, sculpture, palatial room after room, and period furniture. Wonderful.

Wondered into this quite beautiful building while moving between the Military Museum (center of Rome) and the Trevi Fountain areas. This is a great venue should one encounter an afternoon Italian rain shower, as it is filled with beautiful authentic paintings and sculptures throughout. I...More

An amazing hidden gem, surprisingly but pleasantly without the crowds. Free audio tour is great too.
