ViniCultural Tours is a boutique company that was created to be a twist to the norm, to offer a higher standard of quality, without the pretentious attitude. Based in Rome where we run our 3 hour Wine Tour, Food Tour and the first (and only) Craft Beer Tour of the capital! We also customize full day winery tours around the Roman Hills, throughout Tuscany, Umbria and will soon be adding Veneto and Piemonte! Our semi-private small group tours are limited to a maximum of six people; Our Private tours pamper you beyond belief. Our prices always include all of your food, wine, beer and reservation fees. No hidden costs when you arrive! Not only do we ensure quality on all of our experiences, you get MORE for your money than with our competitors. Bottom line: we keep your best interests in mind. Not ours. Your personal native English speaking Master Sommelier (with a passion for Italy) along with a licensed NCC driver (when needed) will make sure your vacation will be unsurpassed and unforgettable.

Our wonderful travel agent, Becky at Beach Bum Vacations, booked this "tour" for us. I use quotations because as it was supposed to be a wine walk, this was one of the only restaurants open in that area, so it became a wine sit. Which ended up being perfect. Marloes was an amazing host. She taught us a lot about... More

Booked the craft beer tour for an evening in Rome and really, really enjoyed it. Let's be clear, it's not a pub crawl so if you see simply want to beer up, perhaps look elsewhere. But if you want to sample multiple beers (we counted 18) in warm and engaging company, then this might well be for you. Perhaps you... More

We have been on several tours before but this was quite special. These are very small family run wineries , one was husband and wife only. Groups are generally held to six people, but on short notice, John and his team put together a great day for just the two of us. Marloes, was our tour guide on a beautiful... More

Debbie, You were a pleasure to work with. Being very clear of your expectations, we were able to customize your trip to unfold as you dreamed it would be. It was a lot of hard work on our part but Marloes and I couldn't be more satisfied with the result. All guides and drivers said you were lovely guests and... More

AMAZING!!!!! We spent the day with our wine expert Marloes visiting 2 small wineries and lunch. First off, Marloes was a wonderful guide. She is very charming and knowledgeable and has a very obvious passion for what she does. She was a joy to be around for the day. The 2 wineries we visited were set in the Roman hills... More

We had a lovely day visiting Orvieto and then a winery close by. Francesca was a great tour guide, friendly and knowledgeable. I only wish we had more time to visit other wineries.

We had a fantastic time with Francesca on the Roman Hills tour! Great wine, Francesca was very kind and knowledgeable, and the gentlemen at both vineyards were extremely welcoming. A fantastic way to see some of the Roman countryside and to taste wonderful Italian wine! Our tour got pushed back a bit because of weather, but John sent an email... More

We've greatly enjoyed such events in the past and were looking at a way to learn more about Rome while also having a fun evening out and trying some traditional dishes. We definitely left full, but found better examples of the dishes served elsewhere during our visit.

My husband and I were looking for a food/wine tour while in Rome. We booked a tour with ViniCultural Tours and were so impressed. It's not just a wine tasting, John teaches you how wine is made, acidity vs tannins, as well as how to enjoy delicious wines that will complement the food. John takes you to the local restaurants... My husband and I were in Rome for the 3rd time and were interested in doing a food/wine tour. We both love wine paired with food so decided to try the ViniCultural Tour. It's not just a tasting, which we have done many times, it's much, much more!!! John teaches you how wine is made, how to detect acidity and... More
