I have been a fan of Roman history since I was very young. Youth is now long gone but I felt like a kid again learning about gladiators and some of the basic maneuvers used in the arena. The staff was great with the children...More

Surprisingly interesting talk about the history of the gladiators. Some of your preconceived notions will be blown away. The appetizers were poor, the wine was OK but scant. The show was fun, kids would enjoy it. They recommend Bus 118 to get there - fat...More

My friend and I were in Rome for 5 days and were looking for something to do other than bar-hopping. The actors are entertaining and the event itself is my fondest memory of our time in Rome.

A fun experience for any age! My husband signed himself and our 15yr old daughter and they enjoyed it. It started with an education about Romans, gladiators, their weapons, and protective armor. Then the training and fighting began. There is some physical exertion, but you...More

No they have a set of wooden bleachers where everyone can sit and watch like a small little arena. All the kids loved it.
