You just need to walk it up or reach the Colesseum and there you will find many guides waiting outside for paid tours. These are not very pricey and are very good. No need to book in advance or buy online. They will have skip the line tickets and with a well guided tour you will get a great view... More

I had the pleasant occasion to take a Colosseum tour in the morning of the 25th of the last November. I booked the tour on the Internet, having no idea about the company. Our English group had a young archaeologist lady as our guide and was a small group - only three tourists. I am so ashamed I can’t remember... More

The tour was fascinating. Cristina was an excellent and capable guide! Having worked at the Colosseum before, she was able to get us quick access to the major points of interest and was well versed in minute and interesting facts about The Colosseum. She held our group's attention well and provided excellent information about the cultural and political significance of... More

A must do tour! I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Nearly all of the tour is occurring on restricted areas of the Colosseum - The fighting area, the underground area, and the third ring (Some explanation was given on the second ring). The tour starts by getting into the area where the gladiators fights were actually placed. Later... More

We loved this tour of the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill on 26th Oct. Fi our guide was amazing (despite or because of coming from Liverpool we're not sure) and had such energy we felt involved throughout. Full of lots of information and insight into the area and history. We had full entry to the bottom of the Colosseum as... More

On stop 13 with the Roma Christiano hop on and off bus. Free entrance with a Roma pass so it's well worth purchasing the 72 hour pass. An amazing building with so much history of where the Gladiators used to fight/ execute. Don't miss this when in Rome.

The tour was incredible, you don't really have to be a history buff to appreciate what is being shown, one of the first great civilizations of mankind. Dennis was an excellent tour guide, probably the best guided tour I have been on. He has a degree in archeology from University of Rome, so when you are walking through the ruins... More
