It's Closed Permanently :-(

Unfortunately Bar Della Pace has been closed permanently. The landlord didn't renew the lease. It's being turned into a hotel - as if Rome doesn't have enough of those! This is very sad as it was a fantastic place with great ambience and great coffee

Near Navona Aperol pit stop!

Roman friends recommended this place as being a good watering stop near Navona without paying Navona prices. We went around 5pm and paid a reasonable amount for Apperon spritz (as compared our other Aperol pit stops!). Generous amount of nibbles accompanied our drinks, with smiley...More

Rip off!

This cafe is among the most ancient in Rome, and the possible closure has raised a lot of protests. We might have missed some special atmosphere, but really - the premises, although charming, did not defend a price of more than 7 euros for two...More

People watching

Lovely place for people watching outside in the shade whilst drinking pre-lunch aperativi. Dreadful shame they are under threat of eviction to be turned into a hotel, after they've been here all these years.

beautiful bar, I did not like the music

Been here on saturday night with friends. Staff is ok. bar is one of the most beautiful places in Rome. However, in the evening they play horrible music. Prices are high, but not more than for in places in Rome.

Nice but too expensive!

Nice place in the centre of Rome, but very high prices. Almost 5 euro for a tea. The service was not kind too. I've seen better places.
