My son and I went to Fendi in Roma, and we were greeted by an amazing man named Carmine, who was very friendly and informative. He took his time helping me make my decision on purchasing my Fendi bag. He offered us refreshments and gave us a tour of the spectacular architecture of the Fendi building. It was a wonderful experience and great memory of my trip to Roma!

Fendi online service is the worst in UAE. i bought a bag online on 31 May and I received it on 17 of June.
The website says 3-5 days delivery however its not right not only this, they rarely reply or care like they’re understaffed or something at 17 Of June they deducted the amount again saying that the first amount was test. Till now I have double amount deducted from my account and they say it shall be returned
So take care as they may double deduct amounts with no clear dates when they might be returning

Decided to step into Fendi given it's one of the marquis brands from Rome. Glad I did! Excellent service, friendly staff, and beautiful space. Very happy about my simple purchase and particularly with the star service staff provided, regardless of whether I made a purchase or not.

We always go to Gucci while in Rome. This trip decided to go into Fendi. The vibe is a little different, their approach is more friendly and not so unapproachable. We purchased some key chains and small leather goods. Make sure you do the VAT tax except.

One of the highlights of our trip to Rome was the private tour we were given at Fendi. We were able to tour both Fendi’s corporate headquarters in EUR and their flagship store near the Spanish Steps.

Fendi is an Italian luxury fashion house producing fur, ready-to-wear clothing, leather goods, shoes, fragrances, eyewear, timepieces and accessories. Founded in 1925 in Rome, Fendi is renowned for its fur and fur accessories.
In 2015, the fashion house moved its headquarters into the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, a six-floor geometric edifice of symmetrical arches nicknamed, “The Square Colosseum.” The 75-year-old building was never occupied prior to Fendi’s arrival!

We were given a great tour by Giulia, Worldwide Private Client Relations Manager. She showed us their movie studio, plush theater, employee café, and a special exhibit of Fendi clothing and accessories used in the movies.

Speaking of movies, Fendi shows a different movie each night at 9 pm, and the public is invited to come free of charge. Not a bad deal! We concluded our tour with her on the rooftop, which offered spectacular, panoramic views.

After leaving Fendi headquarters, we went downtown to the Palazzo Fendi – the company’s flagship store near the Spanish Steps, where we were met by Rim, Fendi’s Fur Atelier (fur workshop) Ambassador. She told us that she had been with Fendi for 20 years; and, it was clear she really enjoyed her job!

Walking us through the various rooms of the Palazzo, she showed us how everything in each room compliments the rest of the items in the room – from furniture to clothes to wall decorations to handbags to fur garments. It was downright impressive! (And, unless she had explained all that, we would have been clueless!)

On the second floor of their store is a room where several employees make fur coats and accessories. (The main fur production operation is at their headquarters in EUR.) Obviously, they have this small operation downtown to show important clients how the work is done. We marveled at the steps they took to make something like a fur coat.

After viewing the shop, we were taken upstairs to the Fendi Private Suites: a hotel with 7 individualized suites. You can now not only shop at Fendi’s flagship boutique in Rome, but stay there. The third floor of the Maison’s stunning home, Palazzo Fendi, has been transformed into the world’s very first Fendi hotel. This sumptuous palazzo originally belonged to the noble Boncompagni Ludovisi family and sits at the foot of the Via Condotti.

Elfriede, the Fendi Private Suites Guest Relations Manager (who has worked for Fendi for 26 years), showed us one of the suites – the honeymoon suite, which was prepared for the arrival of a pair of newlyweds. They had arranged rose petals on the bedspread in the shape of a heart (with a box of chocolates in the middle), as well as a trail of rose petals from the door to the bed.

On the top floor – above the private suites – is a Zuma restaurant, which is part of a world-wide chain of very high-end, Japanese restaurants. This one boasts a rooftop cocktail and dining area with wonderful views of Rome.

We were thrilled with our tour of Fendi!

Although I'm a Fendi fan anyway and have bought their products elsewhere, this shop is great for finding upscale gifts that are synonymous with Rome, as Roma is their home, and this is the flagship store.
I also love the fact that Fendi put up the money to restore the Trevi Fountain.
The price point is better than Hermes, and the staff far friendlier, esp. when compared to the Fendi Paris store.

The Fendi store in Roma was the temporary one, while is the main one being redesigned and is under construction. Staff is really polite and will help you with anything! Ask for Anita, she was a real heart!

Visited whilst on my honeymoon in August 2013. The store itself is as expected of the Fendi brand - elegant, contemporary with beautifully presented products. I intended only to browse but as usual, didn't manage to leave without being tempted into a purchase. The staff made the experience a truly perfect one for me. All were upbeat, engaging and smiled and chatted to us. I was really pleased with the way that the lady we dealt with asked questions about the type of bag I would like and produced the perfect one for me. I always experience this quality of service in Fendi across Europe and I loved this particular store for the warmth and elegance of its fabulous staff.

Visited Rome store to buy an Italian made product. Waited 25 minutes in 2 different departments. I was a woman alone. No one approached me although I had an item in hand to purchase. Finally flagged down a salesperson who was then distracted by another potential customer. Walked out without my purchase--very disappointed!

I think the title says it all!

The SA that helped us out is Massimo Padovani- if you decide to pop by Fendi, i would highly recommend that you ask for Massimo. His service was impeccable- i asked a million questions before even considering purchasing a high end designer bag. Not only was he patient in answering all my questions, he wasn't pushy in any way at all even when i told him "i have to think about it."

When i spotted out a card holder/wallet- i just asked a SA who was nearby whether they are able to stamp my intials on to it. She immediately said no. However, when Massimo found me again- and i asked him the same question, he quickly went down to the workshop and checked whether it is possible (since stamping is usually done on their tags of bags). And voila, my wish was granted!

I ended up purchasing a bag and a cardholder- while we were waiting for the engraving to be done at the workshop (takes around 20-30mins) massimo took us upstairs at a private corner and served us espresso :)

The créme de la créme is that when we decide to shop some more (at prada, chanel etc) massimo asked us to come back to fendi (to pick up our bags) and so that he could hail us a taxi to our b&b- making sure that the taxi driver won't rip us off- once i had acces to wifi i found an email from Massimo to check that we arrived back safely!

Wow wow wow- services like this makes me speechless. No words can discribe this level of impeccable service :D
