Our family with three kids toured Rome and the Vatican with Silvia M. We were impressed by Eyes of Rome's professionalism, excellence, patience and flexibility. Starting with the booking process, Daniel and Mara at the back office were tremendously patient and helpful with our many emails, figuring out what tours and days were best for us. Everything we arranged happened... More

We arranged two days of guided sightseeing with Michela Gristina, for visits to Ancient Rome, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Though we have visited Rome many times, her expertise deepened our understanding of Rome and its history. Her charming interactions, her knowledge of archaeology and art, and her insightful answers to every question were exceptional. We couldn't recommend... More

Eyes of Rome (ELISA!!) was awesome!! My wife, three young children and I recently spent 4 days in Rome and had multiple tours with Elisa and she was fantastic. It was our first trip to Rome and it just wouldn't have been the same had we not had such a personable and knowledgeable guide. She even helped me buy tickets... More

Had three morning tours of parts of Rome, two with Silvia and one with Serena. Was just the two of us. All were excellent! I would recommend Eyes of Rome in a heartbeat. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and totally personable. We especially loved Sylvia - imagine an archeologist taking you through the forum - she brought it to life for us!

We had the pleasure of being guided around Rome for 2 days by Azzurra. She was an outstanding guide who also became a friend. Great insights and stories my wife and I would recommend her to any who are keen to get the inside scoop on ancient Rome, the city center and Vatican. We really enjoyed the opportunity to have... Family friendly: On holiday with our x3 young daughters and Company had matched us with x2 superb guides (Katy & Eliza). They were delightful , friendly , fascinating and entertained us all. Worthwhile: sure a bit more expensive than a book but you go to Rome on very few occasions so you want to get the most out of one's visit.... More

Our family of 6 (grandparents, parents and kids) were guided around the Colosseum and Forum by Stefania. Our children (aged 9 and 12) were absolutely fascinated and engaged by Stefania's knowledge and descriptions, despite having arrived from Australia the night before. In addition to the amazing tour, Stefania also helped us with advice on other attractions and even some Italian... More

If you dont know what to do, or where to start, you can do like me and my daughter - ask Eyes of Rome. Marta gave us an custom made tour in the Vatican. We felt she had knowledge about every pice of art, and we realised we could have taken more advantage of Martas skill if we had been... More

What a fabulous and interesting tour, Angela was such a knowledgeable and cool guide, we loved it! We started with the Vatican, then went to the Colosseum and ended with the Roman Forum. Skipping all queues and having a very knowledgeable local guide was a must for us. We were also lucky as the weather was perfect, and crowds weren't... More

Thank you so much to our guide and hostess today Elisa. We had a lovely day which started at the Colosseum in the morning with a tour of the Forum. A lovely lunch organised by Elisa and then a tour of the Vatican. Elisa then dropped us off so we could make our way to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
