The small group pizza making and gelato class with Walks Inside Rome was a lot of fun. There were 6 participants, Max the chef, and his assistant. It was less of a class and more of a fun dinner party with Max preparing bruschetta and other snacks for us before the interactive teaching session on gelato and pizza. The company... More

We did two half day small groups tours being the Colosseum/Forum and the Vatican. We normally prefer to explore on our own, but these tours are without a doubt the best way to view Rome.   We had Nina for the Colosseum who has a Masters in Archeology so was very passionate about the subject. It was a bitterly cold... More

An excellent detailed and historical tour, including the underground areas of Coliseum. Toni was easy to understand, had a command of the big picture and the details. Tour was excellent.

We took the Colosseum tour that included underground VIP access, and I am so happy we did. Our group was just 3 people the day we went and I am told they groups sizes are intentionally kept quite small. This meant complete access to the tour guide to ask any and all questions throughout the tour. This is quite simply... More

This is the first time that I have excellent experience with tour company. Starting when I want to book a tour, the marketing team was extremelly excellent to help me for arranging my trip. They always respond every single email that I sent just a few hours after I sent it. The tour guides (in Venice, Rome & Positano) were... More

Irene was our guide for this amazing tour. She is extremely knowledgeable, interesting, and very sweet. She was ready with a slide show on her iPad to explain and show certain things before we went inside, and she then tailored the tour and presentation for us since we are Jewish and we very much appreciated that. This is a very... More

This is the only way to go - a private tour. The lines were incredible even in October and we were able to bypass most of that as we had booked a tour before our trip. Our guide - Francesco (excuse any misspellings) - was most knowledgeable and informative. My husband and I learned a great deal. I would highly... More

Having the ability to view the Sistine Chapel before the crowds alone is worth the early morning semi-private tour. What makes it even more worthwhile is to have a guide like Linda, she is an amazingly knowledgable guide with a great sense of humor. She made the tour interesting by sharing insights and context to historical facts and references. We... More

I'd worked with Walks Inside Rome before and had the experience of a lifetime, so when my wife and I were planning a week in the Piedmont region of Italy I reached out. Marilena got us in touch with a local travel guide in Piedmont and what resulted was the best week of food, wine, chocolates, and cooking class that... More

We were part of an eight-person tour on a very crowded day, so we appreciated the early entry into the Sistine Chapel and some of the galleries before the masses of people arrived. Our guide, Nina, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and bold enough to manage the crowds. It was money well spent and I would recommend it to others.
