The Vatican guided tour, charged @€ 15-40/ person, takes about 3.30 hrs on foot to cover various Vatican Museums, Vatican Square and the main Basilica. We visited only the Vatican Square and the main Basilica (the prime Church) without guide for which we had to stand in queue for half an hour.
