A short but fairly steep walk takes you from Piazza del Popolo up to the top of Pincio. There are amazing views of Rome from the top as well as a park which contains a lot of busts of prominent Italians. There's a park which had a lot of families who were hiring go-carts, golf carts etc.

Hi, kindly ket us know : i will be im Rome with my mother , 84 years old, and i would like to take her to to visit Terrazza del Pinchu view point. Please let me know if there is a way to get near by this high place by a taxii, without climbing the staris from Piaza del Popolo?
it will be too difficult for my mother to climb those stairs so i am looking for the nearest place which a TAXI can take us to, with no need to climb stairs nor climbing a steep path. thank you

12/31/19 This was worth making time to walk here! Great views of Rome. Some say it is very steep walk but I didn’t think it was so steep. Beautiful Borghese Gardens next to this too.

It is worth climbing the small hill up to see the great views of the piazza and Rome. The gardens up there are also nice for a stroll.

An amazing view of the city and Piazza del Popolo, cool fountains, trees and shade, still the scammers found you somehow. Lots of stairs to climb up from the Piazza.

Lovely setting for sunset view over Rome, with the dome of St Peters basilica dominating the skyline.

Local buskers playing music adds to a nice ambience - come and spend a relaxing 45mins and just take in the sun slowly setting over beautiful Rome!!

Easily accessible a short walk up from the Piazza de Popolo

A clear evening…
Warm spring air…
Not as crowded as expected…
Only one truly annoying flower vendor…
Watching the sun set slowly in the west…

Holidays can be a stressful mad dash to check as many attractions as possible off "the list," but it’s moments like these that will stay in your memory forever.

The view was lovely. I was thirsty, though, and bought a bottle of soda from the vendor at the top. For my five euro bill I received a small bottle of coke and a one euro coin. Four euros for a coke?! I scraped my plan to buy some gelato and how to bring my own refreshments (2 euros at a minimarket below) in the future. These thieves can only take advantage of tourists if they consent to hand over money without questioning.

We noticed it from the Piazza del Popolo and decided to walk up. It is a nice climb up from the piazza. Once your at the top you have excellent views of the piazza and Rome area. While your here make sure walk through the gardens.
