The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

I have purchased 5 items (EUR52) and paid the delivery charge (EUR70) which was more expensive thank purchasing. However the most expensive and biggest item was found broken after reached the destination. And Rinascente Rome customer service only agree to refund the damage item. No delivery charge! Their excuse is there was no more item left as the broken item, so they could only refund instead of sending another one. And without that broken item, I would still need to pay the deliver charge for the rest 4 small items. But they never thought it was a set and pair. Also I would NOT buy the rest 4 if the broken item was not available. Also my friend in Rome went to their shop, the item was still available in their shop. They just didn't want to deliver another one to their customer because their own fault. After I wrote them again to disagree the settlement, then just ignored me. Which means I need to pay EUR70 delivery charge for EUR30 remain items. If I purchase later or somewhere else. I will need to pay delivery charge again!!!! Stay away from Rinascente!

We came on a Sunday to have lunch and so far everything was normal, but nothing special: good, expensive, service not too friendly. I wanted to offer coffee on the terrace, as had already happened in previous years, but we were stopped by a girl with a Walkie-Talkie who told us to wait together with other people who were in line. We wait 10 minutes for someone to get off and finally they let us on. We are surprised to notice that the terrace is empty! Only a third of the tables are occupied! We ask to sit at a table to have a coffee and we are told that they no longer offer coffee service, but only alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. And then, after admiring the wonderful view, we leave, continuing to notice that on that terrace there are more staff, and moreover unsympathetic, than customers. Management should ask themselves why such a beautiful place is so empty on a Sunday afternoon, it seems like customers are a nuisance. Result: I promised my partner that we will NEVER enter the Rinascente in via del Tritone AGAIN.

I think this was the worst dinner I ever ever had. Ate around the world but this??? I can’t even write how bad it was couldn’t even finis anything and the concierge which recommended it to me should think. Sad it was G20 in Rome because all better places booked out.

I brought some friends who praised the place, but the service was really poor. The six aperitifs arrived without straws, requested several times and never arrived. We asked to close a door due to the wind... but no one listened to us. A very sad evening indeed. Perhaps such young people were unable to maintain adequate service.

A spritz for 16 euros and a glass of anonymous white wine for 11 would also fit in that location... because due to professional deformation I think of all the infinite indirect costs that fall on that spritz... but really not!!! In addition, three olives are brought (I say three!) with a reinforcement of a minimal quantity of chips from the bag... we are not monkeys and we ask for something to take the olives... I see a cutting board pass by with toast divided into 3, I ask the waitress what it was and the same one immediately replies to me... it's paid... but it goes... I replied that I have an income sufficient to guarantee the purchase of a piece of toast (good and not expensive...)... no menu at the beginning not even the qr... if ever there I will return and I will bring the ISEE with me so they can judge in advance what and how much I will be able to eat... a location like this deserves much more! Luckily it was my birthday and I got the discount from La Rinascente, of which I have been a major contributor for many years...

We discovered the roof top terrace by accident & decided to have lunch here. We were delighted to get a table as was busy Sunday lunch. From there it was all down hill. We sat for ages without being acknowledged so finally had to get up & ask for a menu. The food was cold & massively over priced. After asking to pay the bill we were again left waiting so eventually got up to go & begrudgingly pay. We left very dissappointed. Save your money & eat else where. This was all show & no substance. Only great thing were the clean loos!

My friend spent a nice afternoon at Rinascente Roma Tritone, lunching at the rooftop terrace and shopping at the Louis Vuitton boutique within the shopping centre. I had the opportunity to join her at the boutique in the evening, where she was served by Luca. He was friendly, hardworking and helpful. Ever patient and jovial, he carried out his responsibilities well and gave useful advice. My friend felt comfortable with the service that he had rendered, and decided to make some purchases. Thank you very much to Luca for the positive experience and for making us feel very welcomed.

experience to forget, I'm going to buy a pair of new balance I need a salesman who clearly did not want to help me buy, listless.
I buy the shoes and (they are not from Rome, but from Modena) when I get home in the box there are two right.
I write to the customer service who after solicitations tells me how we can undo the damage done by them.
their solution is that I send the wrong shoe and wait to receive the right one... this after solicitations from me...
in my opinion a service that respected, since the damage they have caused is to send me the correct pair and I to make the return... conclusion I spent 120 euros and are waiting for their time.

A very elegant door man. Great start! The staff in the shoe department appeared untrained and disinterested. The sock and underwear department has a varied choice but the staff seem harassed and rush you. Not worth the money. Go to Coin or Upim instead.
