Lazio game

Reassuringly tight security- you'll need your photo ID. Usual overpriced stadium food. Good views from everywhere. Walkable from central Rome but takes a good, brisk 45-50 mins.

We attended the SS Lazio vs Sausolo game in October and it was an absolute hoot. If you can, try and make an effort to attend a soccer game in Rome because you really get to see what the Romans are all about. Half the stadium was empty and we're guessing that was the side set aside for any Sausolo... More

This is the famous stadium in Rome, home to matches of AS Roma. Bus is the easiest option to reach here.

I went to Olimpico for a visit in the spring 2016. We got there by bus, which is quite easy and a all day ticket is quite cheap. The stadium was closed for visiting but from what i could see it needs some renovation, as it is beging to show it's respectable age. Really cool anyway for a Lazio fan... More

I saw U2 here as well as an AS Roma match. The stadium is easy to get to however certain sections are not. We paid the extra for VIP to sit in the MONTE MARIO Section. This is not very well signposted at all and every member of staff we asked could not speak English. Once we found it, it... More

So many people is having a trouble how to get here.... guys the easiest option.... BUS! We spend days of googling forums, FAQ, etc ... So bus 910 from Termini will get you almost on outside the stadium... you will see it on your left side. All you have to do is cross the bridge... which is good cos on... More

Since we were in Rome for my dads actual birthday, we decided to go watch Rome's Soccer team play at the Stadio Olimpico. It was a last minute add on to our itinerary so we got the cheapest seats online. When we got there, even though the signs were in Italian, it was pretty easy to find where we were... More

We visited Stadio Olimpico for a game of rugby in November 2016. All staff members were extremely helpful, toilets clean, everything worked just as it should for a big game (All Blacks v Italy). Easy access and walking distance (provided you like walking) from centre.

This stadium built for the 1960 Olympics still has charm and on Saturday night was pretty full for the Italy v NZ Rugby Test The game was a bit one sided 68-10 but the crowd was young engaged and very enthusiastic Very safe - as usual for Rugby and overall a very good experience

You can buy tickets from AS Roma Stores. No need to buy from Internet. Prices are lower in stores. 25 € for behind goals and 65 € for sides. Ultras was not in stadium so atmosphere was not perfect but stadium is epic and watching football in Italy is unique!
