According to Google Map, this is located outside Porta Marina, right next to the ramp that leads into the Pompeii ruins. It was not open to the public, as least when we visited. The low wall alongside the baths blocks most of the view of the baths. Also with all the crowd streaming in to get inside Pompeii, there are not much time and space to view the bath without creating a nusiance on the ramp.

If you enter from the upper Porta Marina entrance then this is the first part of the site you will visit; otherwise you will need to seek it out and you should. It is site 1 in sector 7 on the map and not via dei misteri as stated on TripAdvisor.
You go down a flight of steps to the entrance and then pass through the various rooms. It is different from the other baths on the site as it was for private members' use. You get a clear view of the functions of the different rooms and due to the floor being exposed you see the way the heating system worked.
As part of the decoration there is a series of pornographic frescoes advertising services available elsewhere in the building.

When entering from Porta Marina, the Suburban baths are one of the first sites you come across before walking up the main street. Whilst you cannot enter the baths themselves you get a general idea of the scale from the walkway and the significance in their place in the culture.

Each of the sights at Pompeii are so special from the perspective of preserving history of everyday life in the ancient city. These large baths are outside of the Pompeii Marina gate area and easily missed. But if you know beforehand you'll find them. Spectacular sight & insight into the lives of citizens of Pompeii. Worth the visit. ...

The suburban baths are huge and included a wasterfall. The changing rooms are decorated with erotic paintings and sumptuous murals.

the baths are of huge significance to the Romans, hence a lot of effort went into the workmanship so absorb it all.

The ancient city of Pompeii has ancient buildings and home you can spend the day exploring. The Baths is an opportunity to see where they used Roman Baths to meet and bathe.

How smart the Romans were. Sometimes it humbling to see what they thought of that we think is from our modern time

you do not realise how large the baths are until you see them in plan.. Although you cannot walk in the bath complex you get a real idea of the size from the raised walkway..
