It is a big castle at the top of the hill, the view is great so it is worth to climb up. There is a "lanovka" that goes up from downtown or a bus stops not far from the main door of the castle. Inside...More

Take the funicolare centrale and then a short walk to the Castel. Outstanding views from all sides over Naples. It is a must see.

A legközelebbi metro állomás a Vanvitelli (1-es vonal). Út közben néha kicsit elveszve éreztem magam, eléggé labirintus-szerű...More

Not worth the money, the only thing you get is a beautiful view which is nice but it doesn't meet the expectations of a visit on a Castel.. There is a gallery as well but the English descriptions are all together so you don't know...More

It is not that difficult to reach, despite being located on a hill. The funicular gets you almost to the top. The view from the high walls is breathtaking. Also, the insides of the castle are impressive. I would recommend this short trip - it...More

Come in the afternoon for the best light on the city, Vesuvius, and the Bay and its islands. Better views than from the Certosa di San Martino.

It is great fun to take the funicular up to this castle and take in the views - well sign posted and very welcome elevators to the top. Interesting modern art gallery too.

I'm not sure because it's a no working day in Italy, but I guess so. Opening hours from 8.30am to 7.30 pm but the ticket shop closes at 6.30.
