Inside this museum (a very small one) you will find a lot of old catholic stuff, for sure the top of the visit is the necklace and the crown which are part of the huge San Genaro treasure but, in my perspective, the best of this activity is the chance to go inside the chapel of San Genaro inside the... So rich museum... This shows a lot of jewels and all things that have done for San Gennaro. The only point was...I was there on the day of San Gennaro but never found at first sight where was the blood (in fact in the church) ..

The museum is fairly small, it was around 6€ the ticket and most of the reading labels and explanations were in Italian. San Genaro is the patron saint of Napoli and multitude of wealthy patrons and kings donated jewels and money that ended up in this museum. You can see a few silver and gold plated statues, chalices and the... More

This museum is definitely worth the 5 euro entrance fee. My recommendation would be to do a guided tour (included in the price)since part of the allure of the whole experience is all the tales behind the Saint Gennaro' story and where and from whom all the beautiful jewels come from. You will be amazed at what the treasure is... More
