Well this is intersting ascthere are several tours to take but we chose the historical society based at the university ! We were told to wait at a cafe Umberto or something - it’s next to the Duomo n royal palace - quite a famous cafe with seating outside ! We took the earliest time at 9:30 or 10 n they have tours running every 2hours ! Good luck
