An area that could do with improvement as it is next to National Archeological Museum, the small tree lined park seems to have been deserted by the Municipality and has been taken over by people and dogs lounging on the benches in various states of inebriation or worse. It is right next to the magnificent National Archeological Musuem and should be renovated and maintained as a place of pride not the dump it is. we felt intimidated when we walked through the small park and I am not a person who usually is.

Little park (not well maintained) close to archeological museum) around the 'museo/cavour' metro station . Seems to be used by the local dog-walkers . Not worth spending time here !

It is the metro stop for the Extraordinary Museo Archeologico. The area does not have much going for it. However, north of the piazza is the very interesting area of Sanita. It has some wonderful palazzos designed by famous Neapolitan architects. The catacombs of S. Gennaro, St. Gaudioso and St. Severo are located here. South of Piazza Cavour is Piazza Bellini where there are many places for outdoor eating, bars, and of course pizza. Art supply shop bookstores and other little shops too in this area.

Square left in a pitiful state full of waste left everywhere especially in the area near the Pozzuoli metro line. The gardens are a campsite for bums and unsavory people. Not recommended to go in the evening.

Fa proprio schiffo, degrado assoluto.
Very disappointing when it is a convenient transport area and has the wonderful Museo Archeologico so near.

Somewhat dirty and characters hanging around, drinking. A place to pass through, not visit. Not recommended.

Dirty, rubbish all over the street, maniac drivers. Hurry through here on your way to the magnificent National Archaeological Museum.

We were staying near to Piazza Cavour because it was a good location to visit the Archaeological Museum and has a Metro line. At night the place is filthy, rubbish bins overflowing and the Piazza itself was a magnet for groups of men, most of which seemed to be drunk. Take care crossing the roads as zebra crossings are totally invisible to most drivers.

It's really at the edge of old Napoli- a bit dirty & seedy but this is the start of where the working people live, Sanita & I really liked this area. Of course it's very grubby & full of dog pooh but lots of lovely authentic eateries & bars & old buildings- the people are so friendly.
The museum & Via Duomo start here too.
Lots of Sri Lankan eateries here.
