This is a hulking brute of a castle and it is no better inside. It dominates the harbour and when we went in September the access was difficult due to “road works” with no evidence of any work going on.

do not waste your time , take a photo [ or a selfie ] with the castle and move on...save your money....the gallery inside is...very smalll....and there is no balkony or terrace for observation or photos...
Place was shut apparently because of technical and logistic problems, like most of Naples places.
