large open space, just in front of the Royal palace. If possible visit the Church. a stop at Gambrinus cafe it is a must

Whilst visiting Naples I was crossing a busy road but using a pedestrian crossing when I was hit by a Fiat 500 on the pedestrian crossing!!

It should rival and be above most European cities, but... the amount of garbage in the streets AND grafitti all over the place just creates an atmosphere of a dump, the basic definition of ghetto.

Very easy to get lost if you wander off the beaten track, make sure you have a map to get you out again! Although still great fun finding new delights to the eye around every corner

Walking round the historical centre of Naples is a great experience - with and everyday life carrying on among majestic buildings - tall, narrow streets, garlanded with washing lines, opening out in to splendid squares!

This place is beautiful, but there is a lot of garbage/trash blowing around everywhere and it gets collected around the building. It would be a lot better if they took care of the place around here.

Just walk through the old town, for example down Via Tribunale - filled with shops and cafes.
