This is a breathtaking structure with an incredible history and art collection. Though it was a bit warm inside the palace, a simple hand fan took care of that. We also enjoyed the café after spending almost 3 hours touring at the museum. This is...More

Firstly, it's a real oasis - you step away from the hustle and bustle of Naples into a beautiful garden and then the palace itself. Secondly, the art is excellent. Botticelli's Madonna and Child is fabulous and well worth lingering over. The surprise package was...More

The building, the garden and the view from it are beautiful. But when we visited the royal apartment was closed and the Caravaggio was on loan. The rest of the art collection was not that impressive so we were left disappointed.

I love the Capodimonte. It has an excellent collection and is located in a beautiful garden--it's essentially the only green space in Naples. If you walk, it is a bit of a hike, but the grounds are lovely and the art collection is wonderful. Highly...More

The park is nice, scenery is good, but the art is so typical and boring that it is not worth the ride. Lots of babies, jesuses and naked fat women To improve things they tried to make a separate part with selection of paintings made...More

The palace of King (French) of Napoli located over the city in a large garden; very good historic art collection with contemporary appendix. Good escape from the city rush.

The palace is situated in a beautiful park that used to be the Royal hunting grounds. Today everybody can enjoy the park and they really do. We encountered joggers cyclists, people ambling along, people pushing baby strollers and people walking their dogs. The views from...More

We parked at IPM parking lot and walked 5 mins down to the Museum. If you love art like we do you will def enjoy this museum. My favorites were Caravaggio &Titian. We spent 3 hours roaming the halls and enjoying every minute

Entrance is 12 euros . With Artecard 4 euros. 3.50 for the awful audio guide and one page index (see later). First the positives. The grounds are magnificent but linger after you exit or you'll sit there all afternoon. The 'Galleria delle Cosi Rare' now...More
