As well as the rewarding view over the city, part of the fun is getting to Vomero. We took the central funicular, then carried on our upwards journey usig a couple of escalators, before a short downwards stretch.

We went to the monastery - fabulous views and a few interesting things in museum. Then walked around and had lunch at osteria Donna Teresa. Nice morning. Funicular makes it easy.

this place offer very nice view to the see and also to the city. You can find there also exhibition. I recommend to go there via "furnicular" to experience this type of transport.

Take the metro from Toledo and get off in Piazza Vanvitelli(Vomero) walk up and enjoy the best view of Naples and then enjoy the streets of this beautiful classy quartier in the evening

in English: From The port is more convenient metro and get off at Vanvitelli station. Otherwise the correct funicular is the Central at via Toledo (near piazza Plebiscito)
