The tour lasts about 45 minutes and is loaded with interesting historical commentary. The tour leader was gracious enough to allow use of a camera tripod. The detail in construction is awesome.

The theatre is an outstanding venue. Any seat is a good seat. There is a coat check if needed. It was a great exoerience.

I didn't know that this was the first opera house built in Europe! It is absolutely stunning inside, the atmosphere you can feel is unique !!

I do not recall an elevator. I do remember walking up and down the stairs. There may be an elevator for staff and the production crew.

Yes, you might get lucky- we saw opera there in early January. And if not that, they do the Nutcracker ballet right thru the holiday season. We found that time of year to be quite busty in Naples- lots of Italian tourists
