Guided tour takes ca. 45 minutes - it is interesting but not very detailed and you don’t get to visit the “behind the scenes”. If you’re into theatre and opera, it’s worth taking the tour though. We’ve also seen the “Dame with camellias” ballet -...More

What a stunning theatre. Central seats are necessary if you want to see the whole stage but we were in a box to ourselves almost above the orchestra pit and we loved it

We had the best good luck to obtain tickets to a dress rehearsal for the ballet to be held at the Teatro di San Carlo the next night. The venue is impressive. The dancing was fabulous.

We really enjoyed the tour to see the San Carlo theatre! What a great guide we had, speaking perfect English and showing and telling us the inns and outs of the theatre. I would recommend anyone to book the English tour to see this beautiful...More

Although the outside of the theatre is not really impressive, the inside is magnificent. We can only have access to it on a tour but it is really worth it, the explanations were given in Italian and English. We had the opportunity of discovering the...More

We loved our front row seats to watch a brilliant performance of Tosca. This theatre takes your breath away when you enter, it really is stunning. Tickets bought online, and printed them off at home easily. The website was a bit difficult to navigate to...More

Beautiful building, I can imagine a wonderful experience if I attended a performance. However, this was just a guided tour completely spoilt by the piano tuner plying his craft whilst we were there, trying but failing to hear the commentary. I thought he could have...More

Yes, you might get lucky- we saw opera there in early January. And if not that, they do the Nutcracker ballet right thru the holiday season. We found that time of year to be quite busty in Naples- lots of Italian tourists
