This a large square with the palace llaying next to it. Quite often, activities are happening here. Some visitors claims this is the most beautiful square of lapels, I do not agree: it is very large with nice buildings surrounding it, but is does not...More

You can sit and people watch from all the sides. We sat and watched from the benches in front of the Palazzo and then moved over to the steps of the church and continued. I enjoyed the statues in the middle, and all the lions...More

It is a very nice place, full of people living their normal life (a typical Mediterranean square full of locals). It reminds me of St. Peter's Square in Rome but the buildings are pretty different: Palazzo Real full of Spanish Coat of Arms and Neoclassical...More

We walked here and it was worth the walk. The square is a replica of St. Peter's in Rome. It was built by Napoleon's brother in law to honour Nap himself. The church inside is fabulous and worth a visit. It was atmospheric with music...More

The Piazza at night lights the columns different colors. It is cool. I highly recommend singing James Dean's That's Amore here, in old Napoli that's Amore!

Feeling mobility challenged, we walked from the cruise terminal up the hill to the Piazza. Interesting memorial to immigrants just outside the cruise terminal. Then past parking lots and across a main street along a construction project on one side and an old castle on...More

The main square in Naples, its rather large and uninspiring, although the buildings around it are nice, The Royal Palace, and The Basiilica, with its lovely columns. 2 nice statues are located here also.
