I saw this rock formation from a boat cruise around Capri. Easiest way to see it. You can also hike close to it.

A long and hot walk from Capri town centre, up and down, a lot of stairs. But the wiev of the arc was wonderful, and it was very peaceful. Nice bar near to visit after and cool down.

I saw this rock formation from a boat cruise around the Isle of Capri. If you look hard enough, it does resemble an elephant.

A bit of a walk to get to the views but not difficult at all. There is a small bar / restaurant near the Arch to get a quick snack or libation. Definitely one of the things to do on Capri.

What a beautiful place.
We got the ferry across to capri and wondered around the shops had lunch and thought what else can we do….
Then we found this walk and it’s stunning. Not to long and not to hard.
It’s amazing walk, you go past lovely views, houses and foot paths. Well worth doing and it’s free.
Benches when you get their so you and sit and enjoy the gorgeous views.

This is a truly stunning landmark reached after a pretty serious hike so is not for the faint hearted or for anyone who struggles with their mobility.

We had to descend 300 steps to get to its or ascend depending on which way you complete the trail.

Well worth doing if you are able and there is a cave not too much further down which makes for another memorable stop

We chose the afternoon to do this excursion, because in our plans there was the wish to wait for the sunset on the way back.
We got there around 4:30 pm in late October. Maybe it would have been better in the morning but still the light and the view were beautiful.
After a one hour hike, sometimes a bit difficult, we arrived at our destination. The natural arch can be reached by walking the length of Via Matermania, until the intersection with the sacred aedicule of the madonnina.
Then you continue to the left. The road then becomes an unpaved mule track, which, crossing a lush pine forest, takes you to this miracle of nature.
Wonderful vision! Spectacular show.
On the way back, the path became a bit difficult and we stopped to catch a breath. Along the way we could admire the splendid villa of the italian writer Curzio Malaparte and an extraordinary sunset stunned us at Pizzolungo.
It was really worth it.
Recommended.

On an island full of natural wonders and amazing views this was one of my favourite spots. Depending on which way you come there are a lot of steps to either descend or ascend, however it’s more than worth the effort.

There is a nice bench to sit and admire the views. There is also a small restaurant close by.

It's a bit of a walk through the back roads of Capri to get to the natural arch, but worth every step! Absolutely one of the most beautiful locations I've ever been to.

From the villa Jovis, we hiked to the famous Arco naturale, which is an elegant arch of 18 meters high and 12 meters wide. This beautiful arch is carved into the white limestone rock, resulting from geological erosion. We saw that the arch hanged over the sea, providing wonderful panoramic views over the Gulf of Naples. Then, we went down to the Grotte di Matromania; our guide explained us that this natural cave was transformed in Roman times into a luxurious nymphaeum, that has disappeared.
Altogether, I highly recommend to hike the fantastic Arco naturale!!! It’s a peaceful paradise.
