Reachable with a simple 15-minute walk starting from the square of Capri. It is a fairly sunny road with some benches, you reach this lookout from which you can admire a beautiful landscape. Of the stacks actually from here you can see only one so that the vegetation covers the view of the other, but all in all it is equally very beautiful!

This is one of the most scenic spots on earth -- it is beautiful in the most exquisite manner. Perfect eye candy. Take a stroll down Via Tragara and Via Camerelle past the incredible restaurants, shops, and hotels and enjoy the splendor and serenity of the sea views and scented flowers in the air. The view from this spot is the reason cameras were invented.

This viewpoint, along with the Gardens of Augustus, allows to take gorgeous photos of some of the most spectacular landmarks of Capri - I Faraglioni, Marina Piccola and Mount Solaro. It is easy to reach, about 30 minutes max from the center of the town - just follow Via Camerelle and then Via Tragara.
There is a very interesting path starting from the terrace (or finishing there) - it's on your left when facing the sea and it leads along the coast, passing by Villa Malaparte, through the Grotta of Matromania (a natural cave which was a Nymphaeum during the Roman times), then close to the Natural Arch and back to town. It is not only for well fit people but anyway, there is a section with quite many steep steps, but with frequent stops for rest, at the end you will feel literally "spiritualized".
Enjoy it!

We tried several lookouts and found that Tragara was best. You have a nice view towards the Faraglioni rocks and great photo opportunities here.

A beautiful hike and scene. Walk from La Piazzette via Tragara and via Camerelle past the incredible shops, restaurants and views. Then go to nature Arch from there and back to Capri town (whole duration 30-60 mins). You can stop over once you climbed the long stairs for a nice fresh Lemon or Orange juice.
It passes Grotta di Matermania and great view to Faraglioni rocks.

A 30 minute walk from the center where the funicular station is, you find the belvedere that has the most amazing view. The walk it self is also nice through narrow colorful streets with small shops and even the big brands. If you visit Capri, you have to visit this belvedere and enjoy the view.

The walk to this viewpoint is easy. The walkway goes through a mostly residential area with beautiful gardens and small boutique hotels. The viewpoint at the end, near the Hotel Punta Targara is never crowded and looks gorgeous day and night. You have a clear view of the faragolini, and marina piccolo with all the boats in the harbour. Quite magical!

On our first night in Capri we decided to do this walk before enjoying a cocktail and it was so beautiful. It was the first time we really set eyes on the Il Faragnoli rocks from the lookout point and the view was breathtaking. We pressed on though, and after the lookout point embarked on a lengthy and beautiful walk that I was not appropriately dressed for. I was wearing sandals, and toward the end there are a lot of steps going up, like A LOT of steps. The walk was so worth it, but I wish I had known to wear sneakers, so here should be your main takeaway. Absolutely do this walk if you're in Capri, if you just want to see the Il Faragnoli, stop at the look out point and you can easily turn around and walk back through the main shopping district. If you would like to press on, wear better shoes and bring some water. You will not be disappointed in either decision.

A very nice view if you happen to be there in the morning, before the sun comes fully against you. Pleasant and easy stroll.

Great lookout in the front of the hotel. Can be busy but who is in a hurry over here? It’s the start of the walking path to the restaurant on the shore and the beach club. Recommended

We'll be staying on the Isle of Capri in the Spring, for Easter.
We're driving around Europe in a rental car.
We know we won't be taking the car to Capri but will need to leave it in Sorrento overnight.
Have any of you done this?
Can you advise the best place/way to do this?
Grazie! 😁

You can take your car with you to Capri! ferry's departing from Sorrento to Capri has the capability to ship cars as well at the same time. I suggest you arrive early to Sorrento port where you can get ticket's for you and you car as well. Not sure where to leave your car in Sorrento if you wanna do that. Enjoy.
