This area is usually our stop over after our walk/sightseeing around the area - Faraglioni, Giardini di Augustos etc. And bec we stayed in an apartment in Via Tragara, after our boat tour in Marina grande, stopping here for an afternoon aperitivo is an afternoon...More

For sure this tiny square is the symbol of Capri but the fact a place is worldwide known and recognizable does not means that is the best place of the island. Always insanely busy. Too many tourist traps where a coffee is 5 or even...More

Everyone sits here. Get ready for show and some churchbells. You quickly get used to the feeling of being in some Fellini movie. It is just must. And drink costs some more. But in Italy do as italians.

This is the main square of Capri and is buzzing and lively. Numerous place to sit and drink or eat and just people watch

Most famous square in Capri city, small, full of terraces of very expensive cafés, I really missed the authenticity of the place. It may have been nice 50 years ago to sit there and have a coffee, but with mass tourism, it lost a lot.

A bit crowded, but nice place for a coffee. Views are splendid and a good starting point for great walks aroubd the island.

In most respects like any other Italian square, except that it is very touristy and expensive. Go further up the hill to find the nice stuff.

Whether you walk up from the harbour or take transport you'll probably end up in this piazza. We walked up, first thing we did was take in the fantastic view of where we'd just come from whilst celebrating with a vastly overpriced ice-cream each from...More

Same as previous answer, its a busy tourist spot, so can't see the shops and tours being closed. Its their main income.
