Whether you walk up from the harbour or take transport you'll probably end up in this piazza. We walked up, first thing we did was take in the fantastic view of where we'd just come from whilst celebrating with a vastly overpriced ice-cream each from a street vendor. It's that sort of place, full of contradictions, high end shops next... More

I loved this Piazza! So cute with amazing views! Cute places to eat and the shopping is the best shopping in Southern Italy!

Crowded, overpriced, hub of activity, this is the starting point of all things Capri. Yes, it's 15 euro for a couple small cups of coffee, yes, it has hundreds and hundreds of tourists passing through at any given time, but this is Capri, this is why you go to Capri, to sip a drink in one of the busiest squares... This has nice views but busy and expensive. I seems like all the tour groups make a stop here. There no way to avoid it unless you're a local knowing all the back roads because all main roads go through here. The views are great but all the shops and restaurants are very expensive. You can get just as good... More

Nice garden with some figures. It was great but there was a lot of people so it wasn't so comfortable to be there. You can walk or sit there and enjoy the garden view. Nice place to visit.

Filled with tourists, but is a nice place to be early in the morning or in the afternoon, when people go back to Sorrento. To reach the Piazza you can take the tram-cable car up the hill from Marina (10 minutes). The tram station is nearby. Splendid views of Capri' Marina.

We bypassed the piazza Umberto to get to other places that were more interesting. It is a gathering spot, but just OK

This famous square is a lovely and popular spot in Capri and a must see if you visit the island. We had a coffee there and enjoyed the lively and buzzing atmosphere but it became too much to my taste at around lunch time. It's a nice spot but for nothing more than a quick coffee, I.e. I recommend spending... More

The so-called 'Piazzetta' in Capri is full of life at any time of day and night, it's the place where locals go for breakfast on Sunday morning and to the nearby church Santo Stefano. On one side there is a great view of the see and of Capri mount rocks.
