This lift is great when you want to go from the marina to the main town. It is only 1 Euro per person and well worth it, particularly in the hot weather. There are two lifts so any queues subside quickly and the top point...More

Great access from Piazza to the beach. Don't miss this convenient way to the bottom of the hill where the beautiful ocean and beach await you.

This is an amazing experience for travelers and tourists. It takes just a minute or two to take you down to the beach from the cliff.... worth experiencing. No need to walk down to the beach through steps down the cliff, which is quite difficult....More

easy or possibly the lazy way to get from the top of Sorrento to the port an avoids a long staircase/walk. One euro each way to a return for 1.80 makes it good value but beware of the queues which can be long at peak...More

Given the fact that the beach is down a cliff, this lift is a godsend! We walked down the windy road to go and see the marina and the beaches in Sorrento (Meta beach is much nicer). For 1 euro each, you can get the...More

Used this lift a few times when in Sorrento. Was much quicker than walking down in extremely hot weather. €1.90 return or €1 single. No queues, no hassle. Just pay and use. Down in port in less than a minute!

There is a small cost to use this lift but it is so much easier than going down hundreds of uneven steps. It is very clean and easy to use.

My husband and I took this chairlift to the top of Mount Solaro and it was amazing. The view from the top is spectacular. These are single chairlifts and you feel like you are the closest thing to zip lining but safer.

Euro 1.80 return its the only way to travel, the roads a nightmare or try the steps!!! I was going to say down to the beach but there is not one, a few plateforms with beach chairs on them. You need to go to Cornwall...More

If you don't fancy walking up from the shoreline (walking down isn't much of a problem) then you need to use the lift. Expensive for what it is (1 Euro) it will save some time and effort.
