So glad I found reviews of this place as I could so easily have skipped past in during my visit to Sorrento. Go, look down and you will be amazed - it's like looking into another world! You only need a couple of minutes just...More

Well it's just something to look down at when passing by. So it's nice, fascinating in a way and you could look at it and speculate about old times... or move on to the lively center.

Quite a sad reminder that even the stupidest of constructions can be subject to such decay and desolation. We could only view it from the road above. Quite off the beaten path but midway between Piazza Tasso and the wood inlay factory.

Ruins from an old mill in a gulley, whose light changes as the day goes on. You see it while crossing a heavily-trafficed bridge; stay close to the rail.

Although it's disappointing that you can no longer walk down to these ruined mill buildings, it's worth a stop to look at. But you do only see what you see in the photos. It would be great to walk among the flora and fauna down...More

Well, it's there, but what is it? Some quite old ruins of a saw mill or mills. However these ruins have been there for numerous generations, for several hundred years, and are completely overgrown. Frankly they are not worth going out of your way to...More

Just a minutes walk behind the Tasso square you'll find this derelict mill situated at the bottom of a volcanic ravine created after a volcanic eruption. The building was cut off from the valley when the Tasso square was built. You can't get to it,...More

From Piazza Tasso as you look at Bar Fauno take the road to the left of the bar. You will be walking towards Hotel Antiche Mura. It is down in the valley opposite the hotel.
