Great beach for first timer visitors to Sorrento.
Wasn’t too over crowded, crystal clear water and spectacular views. Was a quick 2 minute walk down hill after taking a Taxi to the parking lot.
They offer umbrellas and chairs for a reasonable price.
They even pick out a personal spot for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views it has to offer. Overall a relaxing experience, a beach you must visit if you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy the scenic views Sorrento has to offer.

This is a gem of a place !!
Very laid back relaxed place with beaches jetty and great restaurants ( especially La Tavernetta )
It’s also a working marina with small fishing boats unloading their catch which is sold to both locals and restaurants.
The water is Crystal clear and great for swimming, if you can brave the initial cold .
The locals make you feel welcome as well as the restaurants.
Well worth a visit

Gorgeous area! There are a few small 'public' beaches where you can bring your own chairs, or there are plenty of loungers/umbrellas to be hired (be warned it is not cheap - we paid €60 for 4 beds and 2 umbrellas in Aug 22). It's a combination of rocks and sand depending on where you go - so beach shoes are recommended.
There are about 6-8 restaurants/snack bars - we tried them all and they are all really good. Cost: around €3.50 for a soft drink and €7 for an Aperol Spritz. You can get a pizza from as little as €6 but we usually paid around €100 for lunch or dinner for 4 of us with drinks.
The thing I liked about the area is that it is full of Italians on holiday, so a bit more authentic and rustic than the more touristy areas.
The only downside for some will be the walk back up to hill to the bus stop or car park - it is very very very steep; not just a little gentle hill - it's a whopper!

Loved this beach simply because it was quiet and looked a bit more local and less touristy. The food is great (fresh fish). I liked this beach better than the ones in Sorrento and you can reach it either by walking for 45min from Sorrento’s city center, either by taking a bus.

Worth a day visit. We walked from Sorrento ( 1 hour each way) which was good exercise rewarded by a day at this relaxing quiet beach with clean water and few tourists, which is why we came. Incidentally everything here is less expensive than Sorrento which is an added bonus but not a reason to visit in of itself.

This is a lovely quiet little beach not far from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. It was busier at the weekend than during the week.
There is a jetty with changing rooms and also sunbeds for hire, however we did without.
In May it was still a bit cold for swimming but we did try and the water was easy to get in and out; no sharp stones.
There are also a handful of restaurants here and the ones we tried were excellent.

This is a little bit of paradise just a few minutes from Sorrento. You will need to get the local A line bus to Capo, keep walking in the same direction when you get off and turn right at old white hotel, follow the lane down and after about 1K Puolo will come into view. It has a nice beach and some nice restaurants. On the right of the beach is a lagoon where you can swim.

We walked to the beach from Sorrento using a route in the Sunflower book. The walk took about an hour each way.
Access to the beach is down a steep slope (which you will also need to climb back up again when you leave).
The beach is very busy, so you will need to turn up early to claim your spot. On the sandy part of the beach there are sun loungers and umbrellas which can be hired out. On the rocky part of the beach, no payment is required and there is still easy access to the sea.
When the tide is going out, the beach is very clean. We even had a quick chat to a local who was picking up litter. They really seem to have respect for the area. However, incoming tide also brings in litter from the sea.
There are also plenty of restaurants and hotels on the beach, although we didn't get around to trying any of them.

Hello , I read about your posts of Marina di Puolo. I am searching how to get there from Sorrento without a car. Did you take a bus and can you maybe tell me from where exactly and prices if you remember? Thank you in advance for the help

Hey Sarena; no i, didn’t take the bus from Sorrento... I was picked up by my BnB owner, he was gracious enough to drop and pick regularly... it is approximately a 15 min journey... from the the city centre to Marina di Puolo../
