There are some interesting and beautiful items. The house is nice. The collection is not focused - some paintings, some home artifacts, crystals, watches and so on. There is also a small section of archaeological works. If you have enough time, it might be a...More

For your information if planning a trip, we just missed a visit here - it closes for the day at 1.30pm at this time of year.

We went here because it was pouring down rain. 8 euro to get. Small, 3 levels or so, of someone private collection of pottery, furniture, paintings. Borinf, and definitely not worth the price.

This art museum is on the outskirts of the city centre and was empty when I visited. It deserves more publicity. The staff are friendly and the setting idyllic. Do walk through the garden to the seaside terrace. The collections themselves are of paintings, porcelain...More

Splendid couple of hours spent admiring a magnificent collection and taking a stroll along a path surrounded by orange trees leading you to a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Sea, thanks to the generous hospitality of the hosts.

We attended the performance on October 7. The lighting was disturbing, someone kept pointing the spotlight over the audience. This would...More

Picked up a leaflet in our hotel for a concert of I Tre Tenori at this museum, 5 mins walk from our hotel. We were not disappointed. The venue is divine despite the "do not touch" notices everywhere. Great group of singers and musicians, go...More

We went first thing on a week day and pretty much had the space to ourselves. A beautiful range of objects to view. I was impressed by the building itself, set in gardens which are also accessible. It's a very elegant space to spend time.
