Very easy to get to! Just follow the sign for the roman ruin. It's a nice path down (bus stop is called Caposorrento). The water was absolutely stunning. It was too cold to swim but absolutely worth the little trip. You also can get great views of Sorrento from here.

Visit here. It's a must if on this coastline, the scenery is spectacular the walk beautiful and there is a fantastic corner shop at the top where you can get a nice bottle of wine and he will give you some cups so you can enjoy a nice drink sat overlooking sorrento- the nicest place on the north coastline of... We hiked this from the town of Sorrento which included a stretch of roadway without a sidewalk (!). It took us less than an hour as we climbed upwards not really knowing how long it would take us. The route was beautiful with views of Sorrento and then arriving at the Roman ruins! Quite a few ruins remain, and one... More

Our Airbnb host told us of this place and it was easy to get to by bus and a short walk. So beautiful and the water crystal clear with a cavelike grotto feel and you could swim out through an entrance to the ocean. Loved finding this place and spent much of the day here. Recommend a visit if in... More

We stopped here in the afternoon on our way back from a day sail to Capri. There were some people climbing the rocks and jumping into the sea as we swam in through the arch. The pool had many shallow areas. Even in July, the pool was mostly in the shade, and the water temperature was cooler in the lagoon... More

This was by far one of the highlights of our trip. But you must get there early! We were there by 9am..it was quiet, just a few locals around, and it made the experience so much more authentic and enjoyable! If you walk further around the coast there is a great little cafe where we enjoyed a beer and took... More

We anchored our hire boat about 30m from the entrance and swam in through the arch. There are several other boats anchored nearby doing the same thing and quite a few people in swimming as well. Very interesting place for a dip.

This lagoon is amazing. There wasn't much of a beach, so would advise not bringing much as there is not much place to put ur things. We were the only people there the day we went. Would be difficult when there are more people. Wish I had brought snorkels though. We trekked around a bit more and there are accessible... More

We were lucky to have gone to this place in the October low season - staying nearby, it was an easy walk for us and we went, prepared for a swim. I've never swum in a 1st century Roman ruin before and getting the place to ourselves was a real privilege. There was a team of archaeologists conducting scans of... More
