We had lunch in a café on the square, walked around the shops for a while then caught a cruise ferry to Capri, weather was great. Really enjoyed our short stay here.

By walking down the Via Tasso you will eventually arrive to the bottom and water's edge. This wonderful cove replete with black sandy beach, local fishing activity, bars cafes restaurants and dated local residences was a welcome escape from the hive of activity that the...More

We were lucky enough to be in Sorrento in July when the Festival Of St Anna was on and the whole marina was lit up. We slowly strolled from one end of the marina to the other in amazement before having a beer in Nonna...More

Good selection of places to eat. However, although a sign points to public toilets, they are closed. We found this the only draw back in Sorrento.Hardly any public toilets anywhere, and those that existed were absolutely disgusting. There is a bus service from this harbour,...More

Pretty place, and typical of the photos you see. We preferred Marina Piccolo, but it is a matter of choice.

Great service, food and warm welcome. Their cocktails are amazing. If you are pure vegetarians, chef will make all attempt to tailor menu to your needs.

This is the best bay in Sorrento. There is a lot of local family type eateries. Nothing flash just a good meal at a good price with lots of atmosphere. Very busy at night for food.

Stumbled across this oasis of calm by accident, always the best method of finding hidden gems! A short walk from the madness that is down town Sorrento, surely worth every step, however steep. A small bay of bobbing fishing boats, its sedge lined with surprising...More

It’s a steep walk down (and back up!) the steps to the quaint harbour, but plenty of pavement cafes to choose from, whether you prefer to sit in shade or sun. Fishermen’s boats and the fishermen mending their nets mingle with pleasure craft and a...More
