Whilst staying in Sorrento we were looking for a cost effective way to see both Positano & Amalfi but didn’t want to pay through the teeth or be constrained by the set times of other excursions. The city sight seeing tours worked out great for...More

We took the hop on hop off bus. It departs from the Sorrento train station and you can buy tickets at the news agency next door. Good idea to buy some water at the news agency too as it was quite warm on the bus...More

If you get to the Sorrento train station early and wait, you may get the local bus for two or so euros. There is no guarantee you will be sitting on the right side, though, when you go to Positano/Almalfi. We had a nice breakfast,...More

City Sightseeing is cheaper than some of the organised tours, but more expensive the local bus, but with this there was a guaranteed seat on the way, with an audio tour. The sights were amazing and well worth the trip. Its not the normal hop...More

Bus stops are conveniently located. Sorrento train station, just off the Amalfi road in Positano (10 minutes into town centre) and at the bus terminal at the Marina in Amalfi.
