About
Neapolitan by birth, Sorrentina by adoption. The kitchen has always been my favorite room. The realm of the House, the place where aromas, flavors and conversations are mixed. Graduated in Communication, I specialize with a Gambero Rosso Master in Communication of Food and Wine and I start working for training institutions and companies involved in the Food sector organizing courses and events. In 2019 I decide to give life to my dream: a small Cooking School in the heart of Sorrento.

What a special experience this was! Ana is an amazing teacher with a great personality. We enjoyed this activity on our trip the most because it was intimate and so much fun!

We had the pleasure of attending Nonna Flora's cooking class, and it was hands down the best night I've had in a long time. From start to finish, it was an experience filled with fun, laughter, and the creation of wonderful memories. Nonna Flora's passion for cooking and teaching is evident in every moment of the class. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, just like being in the kitchen of your favorite Italian grandmother.

We learned to prepare a variety of authentic Italian dishes. The guidance made it feel easy and approachable, even for those with limited culinary skills. The best part was the joy she and her momma brought to the process. They had us all laughing, sharing stories, and truly connecting over the love of food.

The class was not just about cooking; it was a journey through Italian culture and tradition. The hands-on nature of the class allowed us to immerse ourselves in the art of Italian cooking.

And when we finally sat down to enjoy the fruits of our labor, it was a feast fit for royalty. The flavors were divine, and the satisfaction of knowing we had a hand in creating such a delicious meal was truly gratifying.

If you're looking for a cooking class in Sorrento that goes beyond the basics and creates lasting memories, Nonna Flora's class is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it enough for anyone who wants to learn, laugh, and savor the magic of Italian cuisine. Grazie mille, for a truly exceptional evening!

My wife and I took the pasta class here. Everything about the experience was five star. The traditional family recipes and the excitement you could feel from the owner, Anna, were unmatched, and it’s obvious this business is made out of love. We did not want for anything while in the class. We were taught how to make everything from the limoncello tonic to the pasta kneading techniques which we turned into ravioli and spaghetti. Anna answered every question we had regarding the differences between American Italian cuisine and traditional Italian cooking methods. We learned so much, and we will always recommend this place for anyone who loves the art of cooking.

Our family of 4 thought that a cooking class in Sorrento would be fun but Nonna Flora cooking school far exceeded our expectations. Anna and her mama were amazing and made this experience one of our best memories of this wonderful trip to Italy. Learing how to make fresh spaghetti, lemon ricotta Ravioli and Tiramisu was so much fun along with making Nonna's pasta sauce recipe. It doesn't matter if you cook a lot or if you don't cook much - it was equally fun for both types of people in our party. You then get to eat the meal you prepared with some nice vino. The set up where you prepare the food, and kitchen where you cook it and sit down to eat are beautifully designed. We had great conversation with Anna and her mama the whole time. Anna even sends you Nonna's recipies via email and we can't wait to start making fresh pasta and tiramisu at home! Anna gives great recommendations for where to eat in Sorrento as well. We had lots of fun and laughs but also learned some skills for cooking and plating fresh pasta. Anna learns some american slang from her guests and she writes them down - we were able to teach her the south Philadelphia area expression "youz guys". It was fun to hear her use it in conversation. We didn't want the experience to end and we highly recommend taking Nonna Flora's cooking class if you go to Sorrento!

This is a must do when visiting Sorrento. So much fun. We learned how to make pasta, meatballs and tiramisu. The food was excellent. Trust me I’m Italian. You make it and then you eat it. We laughed, we danced and enjoyed time together as a family. Thank you Anna and Patricia for a night we will never forget

We had the most amazing time doing this pasta class! We went to Sorrento for our honeymoon and this was the highlight of the trip. Ana, treated us like family. We felt at home as we heard stories, made pasta, and drank great wine. You can’t go wrong by booking this wonderful experience.

Learning to cook with Anna at Nonna Flora was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Anna is so talented at what she does: her love and care for her food and her craft, her personalization of the class, her immense skills and kindness - you have to experience it at least once in your life! We are two beginner cooks and she handled the instructions with grace and comedy (we had so many laughs as we went) and the final products were some of the most delicious things we ate in Italy! This was one of the most special things we have ever done and I cannot recommend it more. Thank you Anna!

One of our favorite activities while in Italy! Anna and her mom were such a kind, friendly, fun team. They were so patient while teaching us how to make delicious gnocchi, meatballs and tiramisu. The atmosphere was lovely and they played fun music while we learned to cook. They were also terrific with accommodating my daughter who is gluten free. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best holiday activities we’ve ever undertaken. Anna was a perfect hostess/teacher. She was very knowledgable - we learnt lots about both cooking pasta and the area of Italy, and I would not hesitate to recommend her. The meal we made was so tasty.

Anna's class was SO much fun! This is a must-do for anyone visiting Sorrento! Anna is a passionate, patient, and knowledgeable teacher for cooks of any level. She showed us that the best Italian cooking needs only a few fresh ingredients (with a few special surprises inside!). We made fettuccine from scratch, Pomodoro sauce, meatballs, tiramisu, and cocktails inspired by local flavors—all incredibly delicious! Most of all, we loved getting to know Anna during our private cooking class!
