easily missed, this wonderful narrow gorge with now just a little stream meandering towards the sea, underneath Piazza Tasso. It faces the multi storey car park. The gorge continous across the square with a road leading down to the harbour with ferries leaving to Capri and Napoli. The old mill which ceased to function well over 100 years ago, as... More

Took this hike on a hot summer day - around an hour with a perfectly timed stop in a lemon cafe. A beautiful walk with superb scenery ending with the waterfall itself.

We walked up today and it was worth every step. Easiest way to find it is through amalfi main square and follow tourist sighns. You'll find the start has a lot of stairs and it's all up hill from there. Sights back down to amalfi are amazing! We came across the organic farm, which sold and served fruit and veg... More

I found the ruins of the mills by accident, and they are quite something for the more adventurous of you. If you continue up the main road of Almafi into the canyon and keep walking up the paved street until the end (there is a private fence blocking the road) behind of which is a small cascade waterfall - then... Nice place, a ghost bulding in the middle of the valley. You will get two diferent ways. In one you will find Nice waterfalls and another goes to the ghost bulding.

We did this circuit at the end of a long, hard walk. It was a lovely walk. All easy going and the lemonade stop was welcomed.

This is a really nice family run refreshment stop in the Valle de Ferriere/Mulin who have the best fresh lemon juice in Amalfi by a mile, fabulous home produced honey and lemon jam, and great fresh fruit. Spotlessly clean, and lovely friendly people. The Valle is beautiful and totally different from the very busy centre of Amilfi which is only... More

If you like walking in nature alongside a mountainriver: this one is for you! If you're fascinated with old industry: this one is for you! The presence of old papermill ruins give this place a surreal feel. The walk itself isn't that long, but goes up. Nothing serious though. Let the pictures speak for themselves. My opinion: must-see!

As it was a hot day and in search of something to do in the shade we decided to do this walk as it was shortish and promised woodland and streams! We were not disappointed. We started at around midday and followed the signs from Amalfi using the Julian Tippett guide; Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Capri (landscapes) (highly recommended, we... More
