Easy going, beautiful area of wetlands close to Valencia city. Lots of places to eat. The boat trip is great value at 4 euros per person. We visited on a sunny day in November..Not many people but the boatman told us it is busier at weekends. Wonderful sunset.

Lots of bicycle trails in this park. A welcome center hands out maps. There is an observation tower that gives a good overlook.

This is were it all began our guide told us, "Paella experience" a class to show you how it's made but more important you get to sit down and enjoy it, don't forget the Sangria! After eating take a boat ride on the canals surrounding the rice fields, visit the fisherman's homes called "barranca"

Our tour director was very knowledgeable and sweet. I could tell she is very proud to live there. You will be able to see the different kinds of rices they plant. We ended eating a delicious paella in one of the many restaurant iin the area.
