The town is quite nondescript. The beach is the main focus and it is really a lovely beach with nice shallow waters and very safe. There are lifeguards on duty every day and one is not hassled with hawkers ,as is the norm in most resort areas. Perfect place to rest and take long beach walks. Most of the restaurants... More

If you want a beach and a quiet town then you have the perfect place in Cullera. There is 1,500 meters of wide, golden sand with a shallow sloping sea. The town itself consists of hundreds of nondescript towers ranging from 5 to 15 stories high. You will be hard pressed to find anything of architectural or cultural note in... More

Although the city of Valencia has the beaches of Malvarrosa and El Saler that can be easily reached by bus, tram, tube or on foot, my favourite beach in the province of Valencia is Cullera, about 40 km. south of the city of Valencia. Clean water, fine sand, palm trees an many good restaurants. You can reach it from Valencia... More

One of the best beaches I have ever been to! It has everything you can ask for, Large, clean, accessable for kids with strollers, cafe, clean water and not crowded.

This area of Valencia has amazing great beaches from Cullera all the way down to Gandía. It's a very spanish area so you won't see many foreign tourists. It's a great area for children and has a nice boardwalk area. The only negatives are that there aren't many good restaurants that have good food. It's all pretty mediocre gastronomy but... More

If you want to have an authentic Spanish beach experience without the inundation of English speaking tourists, this is the place! The beaches are beautiful and the drinks on the boardwalk are amazing. Also, there's several fantastic historical sites to see, including the Castle of Cullera that overlooks the playa and pueblo. We highly recommend this location for your next... More

In my opinion that is.You need to scratch under the surface a bit to find what Cullera has to offer. When you visit here you will find a busy, working town whose wealth revolves around tourism, rice production and fishing and most of all, Spanish tourism. In July and August, the Madrineles come in their thousands, many owning apartments and... More
