This museum was so interesting because you follow a piece of each winning Fallas from each year in chronological order. The posters for the festival are great too. The style and detail changes through time, and new materials are introduced as well. These are just part of the Fallas, since they are massive in size. It is a little tricky... More

We enjoyed this museum much more than expected. The Fallas festival takes place annually and a single Fallas statue is saved each year. They are set out in this museum in date order and it is really interesting to see how these have developed. The promotional poster for each year is also on display and these too have changed as... Although the museum isn't in the city center, it's close to the city of arts and sciences and we decided to take a look around. It's interesting and if you visit Valencia out of Fallas season, you can get to know better a singular festival like Fallas. Nice place and a different way to discover this mediterranean city!

Yeah, indeed, it are real artists who make these falla constructs. But I very quickly got bored. OK, go and see, it is interesting as the whole yearly burning festivity is.

This is a great little museum, although there is not a lot of English signage, so you don't get to appreciate what the various Falls figures would have meant to the locals. The display ranges over two floors. Start off by watching the 15 minute video in the entrance foyer. The display of posters for each of the festivals is... More

If you've never been able to experience at the actual Fallas Festival, then the museum is well worth visiting. It will give you an idea of what you've really missed.

We were in Valenciai at the start of the Fallas festival, but the statutes were not put out yet. It was nice to come here to get a flavor of what they would look like. Only the best from each year get saved. The rest get burnt. Ask to see the film in English beforehand. Seems like they only do... More
